Fibers coded into bundles

Raymon has assembled the 256 fibers according to the ISIS coding (i.e. their electronics) onto the PMT holders of the test-detector. Nice work!

First half of the test detector PMT-ready

The fiber coding, that ensures that each detection event in a pixel of our neutron diffractometer detector is coming from a proper neutron absorption event in that pixel, is now hard-wired into the PMT holder. The fiber ends you see will be spring-loaded against the PMT, once assembled together inside the detector housing.
